ESPN analysts Bobby Valentine is reported to be appointed as the new Manager of the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday (29 November 2011). The Red Sox also considered Torey Lovullo, Dale Sveum, Sandy Alomar Jr. And Pete Mackanin. Bobby Valentine has spent 15 seasons with Rangers and Mets. But after 2002 he didn’t managed any major League.

  • David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane gave a shinning victory to The Los Angeles Galaxy with 1-0 against The Hoiston dynamo during 2011 MLS. The Los Angeles Galaxy as expected kept The Houston Dynamo on their toes in the champion ship game in front of 30,281 crowd. The second half of the game was much more interesting as Galaxy grabbed many wasy chances and Dynamo failed to muster much.

  • Mike Quade, maanger of Cubs was fired by Theo Epstein on wednesday 2 November 2011. The termination of Mike Quade is the first major step by Theo Epstein after becoming team’s president of Baseball operations. Theo Epstein stated that Mike Quade would not be reporting back after returning to Florida. Theo Epstein also said that the people like Mike Quade are an asset to the team but for now it is time for change for bettertment and new direction. Mike Quade was appointed for this job after a 37 game audition at end of 2010 session. Mike Quade replaced Lou Piniella at that time.

  • Mike Smith gave a glorious win to Coyotes over Avalanche with 4-1 score. Coyotes goalie Mike Smith paraded around with a sparkling mimeo of a Championship belt dangled over his right shoulder. Mike Smith was cool enough under pressure as he stopped 39 shots to gave Coyotes a boastful 4-1 win over Avalanche on Wednesday 2 November 2011. Taylor Pyatt and Aluri Korpiloski also scored for Coyotes in their third straight game. Ryan O’Reilly was the one who sored the only goal for the Avalanche.
